They pulled a copy from YouTube on Sat. If Warner is responsible
for the messed up aspect ratio (squished vertically) i can see
why...
Because otherwise it's just free advertising for them.

I don't know what it is, but the trailer seems to sell the wrong tone for the film. Then again, it seems to happen a lot.

I don't have it installed currently, but there's a small program called iTube that lets you rip most things from YouTube and converts them into iPod-friendly files.

It's clear from the comment above that there are some people who will be seeing Blade Runner for the first time when it's re-released. For that reason alone, I'm unhappy about that trailer because it spoils one of the biggest plot lines in the movie.

On the other hand, I'm beside myself with the idea we'll get to see a re-cut version on the big screen.

If you have FireFox install "Download Helper".

If IE, play the clip, then copy the long file out of temp internet files. Move it to another folder and rename it by adding
the .flv extension. Example: blade runner 2007 promo.flv
If WMPlayerwon't play it download FLV player (free standalone player)

Looks like they already pulled it, but Keep Vid (http://www.keepvid.com) will allow you to download flash files from youtube, google video and most places. It also has a link to some offline flash players if you need.

There's also vixy (http://vixy.net) for downloading FLV files online in several formats, including audio-only. I didn't get to see this, not just because it's been pulled but also because my Firefox is acting up and I can't watch YouTube on it. I'll have to use awful Internet Explorer for it.
