Addendum: Because a lady writer should always try to keep her word, eventually, here are four shots from Dragon*Con '04. I think they were all taken at the Gothic Journeys' "Goth: 1980-2004" panel on Saturday, and the one in the hallway right after.

Actually, the third photo was taken on Sunday. Nar'eth hadn't even made Earth orbit on Saturday.

I'm going to try to get some Nar'eth photos up on the Nebari.net costuming page in the next hour or so. They'll be down at the bottom of the page. None of them came out good this year. Problems with lighting and me being too tired to pose.

Finally, the ninth chapter of Leh'agvoi's Nar'eth manga is finally online! I move at the speed of shifting continental plates, but by the gods, I move!

Your eyes look interesting over the glass, like you'd kill the person who might try to take it from you. Somehow, this reminds me of a story I heard about a Star Trek convention where John DeLancie (Q) was speaking. He was sick, so he didn't stay long, but he left a glass of water he'd been drinking. As soon as he was out of the room, someone ran up, held up the glass and began taking bids. The winner paid a good deal of money to drink the glass's contents and yell triumphantly, "I've got Q flu!"

Storm Constantine, Rogue, me drinking water

Fantastic... a photograph of three fabulous artists that I admire, all together. Though if there were an outtake shot that included Jess ready to kick Harlan Ellison's butt in the background, I'd want to frame it.

It's fabulous to see Storm Constantine getting some attention on this side of the Atlantic, even if it isn't enough. The first time I went to England I stocked up on her books because I couldn't find them in the states.
