So...I was wondering...

If I happened to have a publisher who was interested in me producing a book of short erotic fiction, would anyone actually buy such a thing?

There is a small set of artists who have earned my absolute loyalty, whose work has so consistently impressed me that I'm willing to get on their bus and be taken wherever they choose to go. You are on that list. Erotica, poetry, science fiction, murder mysteries, economic theory... I can't imagine not buying your work, whatever genre or form you may choose to work in.

Yup. That's what I meant to say, only it didn't come out all classy like this.

i would also be inclined to say such things, and as well, not necessarily in such classy wording. mine would be more inconcise rambling. hell, is inconcise a word? i cannot remember. meh.

writers who can write good shit no matter the genre should always have their works gobbled up. and as such, i would do the same ^ ^
