News

Firstly, Roc has made an offer on Blood Oranges.

Secondly, for those who missed it last night, the beta of the new website, focusing on The Drowning Girl, went live last night (you can still reach The Red Tree pages). The website includes the "teaser" trailer, but I'm also posting it below, along with the "cast and crew." And, to all those who made this possible by making donations to Kickstarter, thank you! I hope to see the full-length trailer up on the first of March. Also, please feel free to repost this entry or, better yet, just the trailer. Spread the word! And comments are very welcome.

The trailer is very lovely, and hurrah for ROC making an offer, I hope it's a good one.

I am very glad to hear about the offer on Blood Oranges. I hope it's one you're happy with!

As I just said on Kyle's LJ re. the teaser trailer: stunning. I will spread the word.

The trailer is beautiful (I don't even need to see all of it to know this, but of course I am twitching with anticipation) and huzzah for the offer, hope it's what you want or can be negotiated thus.

Every time I walk past a "paranormal romance" display in a bookstore, it makes me want Blood Oranges a little more. I want to see you eviscerate that shit, and I hope that Roc bids well.

And that trailer is gorgeous. It's somehow managed to make me even more excited for the book than I was before, which is no mean feat.

Yeah on both fronts! I watched (and loved and RT'd the trailer) last night; can't wait for more.

Wow.

Wow. It's beautiful.

The Drowning Girl: A Memoir

Very bow tie and teasery (I think that should be a word, really). I've seen trailers for Hollywood films that haven't been so intriguing and atmospheric. Time to send my stepson some money and get him to preorder The Drowning Girl: A Memoir. You could, I suppose, do an REM and File Under Water.

I really like this trailer. The music is genius.

I can't stop watching it. I've retweeted it a couple of times on my feed but never mind doing it until someone tells me to stop.

I completely forgot to mention it, but I'm still available if you ever want to do a complete website overhaul. I'd still offer those services as a freebie (I think it would be awesome on my portfolio, so that would work out okay). We discussed it a LONG time ago, but I think we both got busy and it never happened.
