Long story short- my birth mother chose to cut ties with us when I was 5 years old, it seems her brother has been looking for us ever since (33 years) and finally found me last Weds and sent me a letter.
As a result of too much thinking, too much being inside my own head and those dark corners, I've created 8 kumihimo braids- 3 of which are halfway to becoming cuffs already, since Weds.
