I had an ebook reader for several years but I kept buying paper books as well, when it finally died I didn't replace it. The two things it worked well for were enabling me to purchase and read books without leaving the house and reading fanfiction on the train. I can live without those for now, real books and real bookshops are too precious to me to give up.
