I've got a blog, a domain, a FB, Twitter, all of it, everything, and I still love Livejournal the most. FB gets ignored utterly, except for gnashing my teeth whenever someone asks me to send them a Heart or feed their dinosaur or play Farmtwunts or whatever they do there. NO, I won't feed your dino, and if I do, it will be laced with strychnine.
Apologies to anyone who reads this whose FB pet I've fed. I love you. Really.
Twitter gets maybe single tweet a year from me, because it's fucking Twitter and for Zog's sake who wants to know that I'm eating a panini for lunch? WHO? WHY? Should I be frightened? There's just no minutia of my daily life that's worth tweeting about. Trust me on this.
LJ is my primary means of internet communication, because everything else is either too shotty, too little, too frenzied, too much work, boring, or run by evil Moneylords only interested in how they can harvest and market my consumer information. I just can't get used to posting at Dreamwidth. I tried. I'm staying here until they close the tequila bar and throw me out.
I'm far away from the coast, so I cruise for live beachcams and watch the best ones. It's not a substitute, but it makes me wistful to hear the waves "live". All this from someone who has been known to sit on the beach from dawn to midnight, but will not go into the water past her knees.
