I grew around Southern beaches, and these are still alien to me.
I had almost forgotten that you spent a very long while in Georgia and Alabama. As soon as you moved to Providence, within a few months it seemed as if you had always resided there. Nevermind me, my brain is a bit wonky due to working on my Mac all day.
A friend of mine promised to take me to Providence in the next few years; I look forward to combing the beach for oddities and of course visiting Lovecraft's grave. It's a sad thing that the near legendary tree was cut down. Whenever my friends go to more exotic beaches, they always bring back interesting things for me, like black sand or shells. No luck on an intact horseshoe crab carapace yet.
