Count me in as somebody who gets that. There's a wealth of crumbling warehouses and factories round the backstreets of Birmingham that I've fallen in love with. A lot of them are being redeveloped/gentrified, and I hate that.
I lived at the Liberty Building when it was still loft apartments. Morris Avenue was beautiful. I hear it's all being gentrified and ruined.
