Not many abandoned places like that anywhere close to where I live (although while driving through Vermont I saw quite a few). There is an abandoned factory in town that I managed to get into during the short time the cemented-in door had been knocked down. Though I hear now they're thinking of turning the building into something else *sigh*
Personally I liked the photo of the library at Hellingly. Though I think it might be the kind of room that would overwhelm me if I were there. And Gunkanjima I would really love to visit, if I ever had the chance.
My sympathies on the headaches, I know how they can be.
