Just popped into say that I just started reading your work--Silk, actually!--and am blown away by your writing. I'm trying to write darker fiction with close attention to language and characterization (I guess "literary" fiction with a darker, harder edge, but I dislike the categories). Anyway, I'm learning very much from your work and am happy to find a writer whose aesthetic matches up with mine!
