Late, I watched The Maltese Falcon (1941), which never fails to delight me, what with Peter Lorre and Sydney Greenstreet and all.
TCM on May 4th is doing three films with Peter Lorre I've never seen: Crime and Punishment (1935), Three Strangers (1946), and The Verdict (1946). The latter two also feature Sydney Greenstreet; I've been waiting for them to come around on television for years.
