I suppose, when I have been here in New England for a few years, it will cease to be remarkable to me.
For your sake, I hope not. When winter weather ceases to be remarkable, it's just a an annoying mess. I've spent my whole life in a part of the world that gets moderately snowy winters, and it still soothes my soul. I need some time in the grayscale world, in the stillness and silence of the fallen sky, to balance out the chaos of the rest of the year.
