*nods* It does get exponentially harder to ignore when it's coming at you from multiple directions.
There are a ton of terribly insecure people in this world who feel their whole world vision tremble like a tower of cards in a cross-breeze every time someone expresses an opinion that differs from their own. It helps me to remember that they speak out defensively because their small way of thinking doesn't have space enough for a richly diverse reality. I know where I prefer to live and I feel pity for those who limit themselves and live wearing blinders.
