I hated reboots...for me they were always like someone setting off a flashbulb in my face (or those memory wipers from 'Men in Black'.) Fortunately it was a trapped nerve from a combo of whiplash and arthritis (and stress) so it was fixable. I hope they find something that can be fixed in your case.
