As bad as Cox cable may be, their only other competition in Rhode Island, Full Channel Cable, sets new lows in customer service. I recently had my service disconnected by accident because of cable thieves in my apartment building and it took three days to get it restored. Full Channel, needless to say, couldn't have cared less. There was only a perfunctory apology made and reconnecting the service was a nightmare. I had to fight to get a credit for the loss of service on those days and each time I was treated with disinterest or annoyance.
