Much as I am loathe to attribute it to such subjective reasoning, I've been dealing in some murky area/questions inre: sexuality and sexual identity for the past few months and I can relate rather intimately to your distaste/discomfort/fear of large swaths of this country. I'm going to avoid going off on a tear about it, because it'd almost certainly be entirely based in music as a jumping-off point and I'd start talking shop about dulcimers... ¬_¬
It might amuse to that I had a realization last night. We are the only species I'm aware of on the planet that has had the free time required to master circular breathing. Millions of years in evolutionary investment and we've figured out how to breath in and out at the same time (and sing inward, if you happen to be a Tenacious D fan).
