Yesterday, I did 1,021 words on "The Wolf Who Cried Girl." Any writing day you're able to use the word Pleistocene is a good writing day.

Not much else to yesterday. After the writing, I took a long nap on the sofa. Byron came over for our definitely-not-Thanksgiving dinner. I'd made an apple pie and the cranberry sauce Wednesday night, so the cranberries would have time to set, and last night Spooky did the turkey breast (with apples, walnut, pecans, garlic, white onions, and baby porta bellas), and I did the mashed potatoes. After dinner, the three of us watched Series 2 of Simon Pegg's Spaced, had a very serious conversation about Star Wars, and engaged in a not altogether lewd discussion about Women We Find Hot (Katee Sackhoff, Natalie Portman, Lucy Akhurst, Julia Sawalha etc. & etc. & etc.). Byron left about 12:30 ayem, and Spooky and I spent a little time in New Babbage before bed.

That was yesterday.

Night before last, we finally saw Luc Besson's Arthur et les Minimoys (2006), and now I think it is tied with The Messenger (1999) as my third favourite Luc Besson film. The Fifth Element (1997) is my first favourite, with Léon (1994) in second place.

And I think that's all for this morning. Come on, platypus...
