A friend of mine told me to be honest with my doctor (just got poor person's insurance so it would be a new Dr), because it may affect how they decide to treat me. I learned as a teenager to never be honest about drug use and such because of that. It will be the first time in a long time I deliberately disobeyed what I was told to do. But I just can't trust someone new with my real past.
