My only concern with your wolfpire ParaRom satire is that you'd get into your routine composition woes while trying to write something you really don't give a damn about. Well, you'd care about the paycheck, but I do recall the obvious pain that occurred during the manufacturing of the Beowulf adaptation. Sometimes the cash isn't worth the trouble.
Actually, upon a sudden moment of reflection, I think you should write the ParaRom satire. Then write the "real", more honest story once that's in the bag. Allow the readers to compare/contrast. A kind of Justine/Juliette duology.
