Fantasy worlds intersecting with ours! When I was a kid I had a really silly fanfic idea about the Star Wars characters winding up in our space and time. I think I mainly wanted to see Imperial walkers marching on D.C.'s monumental core. Why not have Tolkien's world intersect with us, too?
