I am also surprised to find it's the solstice already. We haven't had much of a summer here either (although I suppose it's a bit unrealistic of me to hope for a very warm summer in Belgium). I am very glad to have had the long daylight though.

Lovely photos, especially the squirrel and the tree, which looks like it's been carved out of stone by erosion, rather than grown out of the ground.
