Well..on the one hand, there's already species_of_one, which was intended for just that sort of thing.
On the other, I'd like to think readers don't actually make decisions based of what critics think. I mean, critics can't even agree with one another. And if you do manage to find a consensus, there's no escaping the fundamental subjectivity of reviews (and "reviews"). Better to judge a book by its cover, I say. Except the mass-market pb of Low Red Moon, which is light years better than that crappy cover they stuck on it.
