3. My favorite David Bowie album is: BS: So here's where I shock a bunch of people on my friends list. Although I can think of a large number of Bowie songs I really like, I've never actually gotten around to buying any of his albums.
4. My favorite film in the Matrix series is: BS: The Matrix.
5. My favorite film in the Star Wars series is: BS: The Empire Strikes Back. Although sadly the foul stench of Lucas' recent work has colored my impression of the first trilogy. I don't know if I'll be able to watch it again any time soon.

My favorite Ridley Scott film is: BS: Time for another confession — I don't see a lot of movies, and those I do see I don't tend to associate with a particular director, producer, writer, actor, etc the way I associate an album with an artist. I actually had to go to IMDB for a list, and I've seen only a couple of the titles on that list. Of those I have seen, I'd go with Alien.

10. My favorite season is [winter, spring, summer, or fall]: BS: Fall, with winter a close second. Spring has its charms. But I wouldn't mind never seeing another summer, at least another New York summer.
11. The Fifth Element and Dark City were two of the most brilliant sf films of the '90s (agree or disagree): BS: Agree (though again I probably only saw 15 or so films throughout the '90s)
12: Farscape or Stargate: SG-1 (you have to choose one or the other): BS: Farscape. The Showtime seasons of Stargate — before the SciFi channel "retooled it for a younger demographic" — were often quite good, but even at it's best it wasn't close to Farscape's league.
13: I first had sex with another person at age: BS: 25. Which coincidentally is also the age at which I last had sex with another person.
14: My favorite Kate Bush album is: BS: The Hounds of Love
15: My favorite H. P. Lovecraft story/novella is: BS: Hm, tough one. I'll go with "The Dream Quest of Unkown Kadath." Although I'll always have a special place for "Ex Oblivione."
