Addendum: Lisa reminder

Because I am such a very forgetful nixar, I neglected to mention in this morning's entry that Spooky's very first doll auction, the one that will determine the ownership of Lisa, ends tomorrow. It now has about 19 hrs. remaining. Have a look. Really, guys. I want this one out of the house. She's started whispering things to me in the dead of night. Not-nice things...

Click here to save me from the dollish evil.

She looks very sweet. I dig the purple hair/black lipstick combo. If only I had the money. And anywhere to display anything. But I wish her luck on her journey.

Isabella (http://humglum.livejournal.com/50779.html#cutid1) is fantastic, and looks great on my desk next to my iPod. I totally encourage everyone to bid on Lisa. And speaking of buying things, I so totally need this (http://www.cafepress.com/santinorice.49218359).

Writer Appreciation Moment

Today I received a copy of "Silk" in the mail from you and Spooky, beautifully autographed for my friend. When I went to her Al-Anon meeting to support her, I brought her said copy. Thank you for sending it! Now she and I will both be reading it.

I recently finished "The Dry Salvages", by the way. I loved the sparse, deliberate prose style, but wanted a longer ending with more detail. That's how I would have done it and it is a very good thing I am not you, because then I would have serious gender identity issues again. Thank you for writing it; I loved the style and the characters.

I don't always like what you tell us but I respect it, and that makes me happy.
